Why Hire Me?

Copywriter

Skills & Software

Marketing is both strategy and magic—every graphic a weapon, every phrase a spell. I wield both sword and wand, blending precision with creativity to develop content that attracts, engages, and converts new customers.

I will work with you to ensure your "voice" is confident, purposeful, and unmistakably yours.

Your online and offline marketing should be a seamless reflection of your brand. I will help ensure your message is both powerful and enchanting, but most importantly, makes it clear who you are as a company.

Please contact me if I can be of assistance.

Among the hundreds of websites and marketing materials (truly) I've written content for, I've also established Brand Guidelines for many of our clients. I cannot post them here without permission, but I can show you what a Logo Guidelines & Kit looks like.

Please note: website content is not displayed as the sites have evolved over time.

I'll Try Anything Twice

I love learning new things.
I am always taking one course or another. I also enjoy working on projects that don't exactly fit my experience, but perhaps fit my creative "there is no box" way of thinking. Have an odd project and need someone odd's help? That would be me.

Weirdo for Hire

UX Writer

Skills & Software

I write copy that clicks with your customers.

I write with a focus that's strategically, though invisibly, founded in psychology. I can't Jedi Mind Trick customers into taking action so I do the next best thing: I write content that their subconscious nudges them to follow. Feel free to call me Yoda.

With 30 years of action-oriented writing experience, I’ve learned UX copy does more than sound funky cool (though it does). It guides, nudges, reassures and, most importantly for us, converts. I don’t tell people what to do; I write so they want to do it.

Whether I’m working with designers, developers, or researchers, I speak fluent user experience. I’ve helped users sign up, check out, opt in, and read more. If I write your content, your client will never wonder "what does 'click here' do?" and they'll always know what the next step is, based on their preferences and journey through your site, blog, landing page, or whatever it is we're working on.

I’m open to new UX writing projects. I love my work. I especially enjoy projects that lean heavily on the use of interpersonal skills and result in a purposeful product, both in design and copy.

Let me know how I can help you succeed, by empowering your users to feel smarter, get to the finish line faster, and feel more than just a little understood.

Interview Me!

Project Manager

Skills & Software

I love projects. Before running head-first into brand marketing, I was rolling out Windows and the OG Microsoft Suite (remember the days of dial-up? And dinosaurs?).

I learn at lightning speed. In fact, three months into a stint as a Help Desk Operator at Enron, Koch recruited me to build, staff and manage a help desk, designed specifically for the high-pressure trading environment. About a year later I was promoted to Procurement Manager. I was only 22.

As the Onsite Project & Marketing Manager for Methodist Hospital’s Center for Professional Excellence, I led an award‑winning educational planning app that earned our team the Pinnacle Award, the highest honor possible in Nursing Technology.

I’ve managed projects across industries. Clients say they’re most impressed by my project management skills, and I get bonus points because I usually get to write something with every project.

Win‑win.

If you have something that needs to get done, call me. I’ll make it happen and I'll love every minute of it.

Creative Work?

Want to see some range? Keep in mind my default tone is personable and engaging. Yet, a simple review of a song required me to dig deep to imagine visceral feelings I, myself, don't feel. I believe that shows depth. There are also some other non-work related pieces.

It's About RANGE
I Hope the Next Recommendation is From You!
